I'm BAAACCCCKKKK

And feeling better than ever!! Sorry I've been gone so long you guys... Don't worry Im back!!  

Starting back with something that's been on my heart lately... Women supporting other women. 

I truly feel like I have such an amazing support system around me. From my family... To my friends.. To the community I've built and surround myself with. I'm constantly empowered and encouraged by the women in my life. 

this is so important to have in your life. I really encourage you if you are surrounded by toxic people to really evaluate the people on your boat with you in life.  

Trust me, it makes a HUGE difference. 

I truly believe in his quote "show me your friends and I'll show you your future." 

sometimes its its a difficult thing to do if you've had a friend for so long ... But I promise you the immediate pain you feel will follow with a lifetime of peace. 

I have struggled a lot with trying to keep everyone I my life... And spreading myself too thin among these people. But now I know I have the right people around me.  

I invest in relationships that strengthen me... I invest in people that I admire and look up to... And I invest in people that share the same values and morals as I do. 

its important!!! 

Vision Board #2

I wanted to share this one in particular because I made this a couple years ago...

In 2015 I was given a blog for iHeartRadio and they decided to call it "Tanya's Take" ...

Putting it in the universe and when you see it actually come into your life ... Its such a great feeling that you are on the right path!

Getting ready for 2016....

As many of you know I am a FIRM believer in putting what you want out in the universe...

I do this by setting intentions mentally but also physically by creating a vision board...

Putting my goals and aspirations for the coming year on paper somehow seems to work for me!

As I get ready to make my board for 2016.. I decided to share some of my previous vision boards with you....

It also helps me to see what I've accomplished and what I am still striving towards..

Also keep in mind some goals you might have could take longer than 1 year to accomplish so don't get discouraged.. just keep working towards the goal! 

We are in this TOGETHER!

I think what really screws us up in life is seeing everyone as competition.. 

I've always been a firm believer that there is room for EVERYONE! And the minute you start competing with other woman.. That is he minute you will start to lose your focus on yourself and your future. 

At the end of the day we need to see the success of other women as a small victory for us all.. And the time will come for people to congratulate and applaud you when your moment comes..

just st be patient 🙏🏻 

Sometimes all the pieces fall together... For a reason

I've come to realize that a lot that happens in life is all based on timing... A lot of timing and a little bit of luck and you can really find yourself in a good place...

for or me I attribute all the luck in my life to God... He's had this plan for me from day one. He's pioneered this fire in my heart at a young age. And everything that I've felt as luck on my side... Is really coming from the big guy upstairs.. 

sometimes I find myself anxious.. Or wanting more.. Or wanting things faster... 

i have to sit back and remember that there is a bigger plan. A grander plan. That isn't in my control .... And I just have to close my eyes and trust .... 

Why I choose "Happy"

Yes.. I have bad days... And yes, I get cranky... And yes, sometimes I can spend way too much time crying over spilled milk...

But I'd like to say.. And I'm proud to admit I try to spend the majority of my day being super happy... 

Hearing my favorite song on the radio can make me just as excited as getting my first pumpkin spice latte of the season...

i get get just as excited to see my best friend I haven't seen in a week as I do my sorority sisters from college... As I do to some of my co-workers that I get to see EVERY DAY! 

i choose happiness.. I choose to look on the bright side... And yes it does require you working on it!   

It it is easy to go to the dark place. It's easy to go negative. But the more you focus on the positive and focus on the good the more you will start to see a shift in your life ❤️ 

Unapologetically ME

I want to write this because I feel it's important for people to know.. 

I'm not perfect, I don't have it all together... I'm figuring out my life one day at a time and trying to do the best that I can! 

there is 1 thing however that I stand by: I am who I am and I am not ashamed of it anymore. 

have a been teased before, of course! Have I been made fun of, yes! 

But I am who I am and I don't care what any one else thinks! Yes I am emotional, yes I'm OVERLY excited at times, yes I go crazy at concerts... Yes I act crazy when I listen to my favorite song.. Yes I make up my own dance moves to my favorites... Yes I stay in on weekend nights sometimes to just hang out by myself... Yes I go on boy breaks... Yes I've made dumb dating mistakes... Yes I've said things without thinking... Yes I am happy cleaning my makeup brushes on a Friday.... But I do what makes ME happy and at the end of the day.. That's what's important
